.375 BB 300gr + ? Load data

Hey guys.

Knee reco downtime means tinkering with loads!

I love it....

question is can I load 300gr or up to 350gr .375 projectiles for my .375 Winnie, obviously not spitzers but I can get ahold of FN bullets

ADI doesn't have any Data for anything over 220... which is what I currently use.


Wouldn't mind using it with 300gr + projies on Sambar!!

Any data please help, using AR2207 aka H4198 -Equiv to Reloader 7 & IMR4198





375 220 GR FLAT NOSE
.375 250 GR SOFT POINT
.375 300 GR FULL METAL JACKET
.375 300 GR RND NOSE SOFT P
.375 350 GR ROUND NOSE SOFT P

Are my options by the looks.


What can you tell me?

I will look up some loads this morning when I get home from work. I have tons of books to help you out.

Sounds sweet mate, ive read that heavy projies will eat up case capacity , which is obvious but I should still be able to work something out that shoots with enough velocity to hold stable to 150-200m which it wouldn't be used for any further.

I currently run the 220s at 1900fps, so if I can get a big slug to go somewhere round there it'll prove lethal!

So I cant get 300s an only get .350gr RN in .375

Going to put that on the back burner as I think 350gr is too heavy for the BB winnie.
