Very nice!!! That's an H&H I'd be proud to carry. Some like blued steel and fine walnut (and I can appreciate that) but I'll take stainless and quality synthetic over it any day.

That's your opinion, not Winchester's.

Anyhow, let's keep the thread on the topic of all 375 calibers.

Here's mine, a Sako 85 Kodiak in 375 H&H with a Zeiss 2.5-10x50. I have a McMillan for it as well, but actually prefer the factory laminate.

The Royal's offhand 100 yard dispersion with nearly century-old Kynoch .375 Flanged Magnum. The low one hard markedly different recoil and think there was questionable ignition. That said there was a 40% misfire rate with the ancient Kynoch...

Look's like a Very nice solid double rifle Ardent

Glad to see so many stainless Classic M70s, I just reacquired one too. I need to make it lighter, but they're already one of the lighter .375 H&Hs which is pleasant. Hell of a rifle, the best working .375, pity Winchester isn't offering the Extreme Weather in .375 H&H.

sweet find, I've been looking for a while now but the prices of them have been to much, thinking I will rebarrel instead. would be a sweet combo with my stainless classic in 35 whelen

Realistically, rebarelling an EW to 375 ruger with necg sights would be perfection....

That would be a great rifle. I could actually see Winchester using the EW platform to invest in the popular 375 Ruger for the guys that appreciate and need a tough rifle for tough hunting and maybe offering a wood/blue H&H for the fudd types. The EW is a great rifle (after a trigger job) I've loaded for several of them.

Speaking strictly for myself its probably a good thing that Winchester isn't offering the EW in 375 H&H, I couldn't afford another !
The two that I have serve me well enough and have done for decades.
I think there has been a 375 H&H in my gun rack for nearly 50 years, love the cartridge ...

Perfect working rifle philthygeezer, I'm impressed.

Thanks all,

I ordered the stock when the exchange rate was a bit better, along with another for a .22 Magnum Anschutz 1516 and the clown camo stock for the Ruger .338 WM. I converted to the one-piece floorplate while I was at it.

I really like the McCamo colours. The only fly I think is the folding rear sight, but lots of rifles have those and I never really cared either way before. I also really like the cartridge, as I was surprised how well I could handle the recoil. I don't really have a preference for classic vs MOA trigger assembly. Never heard of the new ones going awry.

I like both beautiful walnut with deep blue and engraving, and stainless/synthetic configurations. McMillan stocks are excellent.
