I think you did just fine Tok...... nice rifle and nice country in the background....
Had the wrong No. 1 up there; that was a 7mm Rem Mag...life is good when you get enough No.1's that they get mixed up...![]()
I have a uncle passing a way of cancer and don't think he will be in this world long so I had to pass on the 375 ruger
He gave me his 300 wm and that is going to be my main hunting rifle
Each time I use his rifle Wil bring up memory's of getting up at 4:30 drinking coffee with my uncles and grandfather
My Whitworth 1975 vintage and Sako Safari 1985 vintage

WOW!! ........ for both.![]()
Curiosity piqued, what / where do you guide? Use my .375s likewise.
Sorry to hear..... 300 wm is a fine cartridge...... and it's nice to know that he had the pleasure of passing it on while still with us.....
Haven't been in this thread in a while. I guide moose & black bear in northern Alberta. It's been a few years since I've done it though. Use to use an old tikka m65 or a 45-70. The 375 is handy and 250 TTSXs @ 2900 have plenty of oomph with out the mortar like trajectory of the 45-70.
