My stock pad doesn't appear to have any holes in it. Did yours look like this too?

It does, they close up pretty tight but poke around with your screwdriver and you will find them. That's why it is good to have the new pad so you can get a good idea where they are. Don't forget to use lube to keep from chewing up the pad.
I feel kind of dirty after typing that!

No kidding..."Don't forget to use lube..." is a pretty suggestive statement.

I have an older Browning A-Bolt Medallian in 338 Win mag. I like the feel better than the A-Bolt II .This one is a moose wrecker with 225gr. trophy bonded bear claws. I am now using 225gr Accubonds but have not shot any moose with them yet. They work fine on deer and elk, all have been pass-throughs with massive internal damage.

I found the holes!!! Just slid right in...
