I sold my 373 h+h and I have regreted it ever scince.Didn't sink in till I going through my ammo. I know the person must be enjoying the 375 stainless crf winchester I sold more than I , Basically it was very new, a few sighting inns and that was it,but now ive got that bug again and the only cure is another 375.Some argue who is the king of 375s but to me i have a special place in my heart for that calibre 375 h+h.Many fond memories carrying a 375 ,like the time i was chased by a bear in northern ontario, the bear flanked me to the road almost for a mile,i was carrying a brno with five 300 gr silvertips in the mag.I waited in a clearing and waited and that fn bear came out looked out and turned tail and ran, he has done that a few times on us. We had a buddy come up and all he would do is drink beer,Scotty would not eat ,he said beer was his food, well night came and he had to use the outhouse,we gave a lantern and offered to walk him to the out house which was about 100 yards from the cottage. You guessed it, while Scotty was doing his buissines the bear came out and was trying to tip the out house,he first thougt it was us fooling around, untill we heard screaming and came to see Scotty tipped over locked in the outhouse .The bear was on top trying to get in ,my bros.hit that bear with the 375 and knocked him clear from the outhouse, true story the only other gun i carry up there is a 45-70 loaded with 400 gr bullets stacked pretty hot .What is your favorite big bore and funny thing that happened with it?(By the way am picking up a used 375 this weekend).cheers

Okay< I was tired and using the wifes laptop in the dark.Trouble is this computer has keys that are to small and closly spaced.I could use the excuse I forgote to use my meds.

Have 2 favorite big bores Rem 700 LSS 375RUM and a Marlin 1895GS 45-70.

No funny stories with either did shoot a grizzly with the 375RUM this year.

When it came time to go into the bush after it I carried the Marlin.
