Hey Guys,

Our group got a moose tag this year and this is the first year I'll be moose hunting with my new CZ550 375 H&H. I'm not sure if this is the right section or not but I figure seeing as it's in the interest of hunting.......What bullets do you loaders like to use?

I've been looking at Partitions, Accubonds and TSX somewhere in the range of 260gr-300gr.

Any thoughts?

I had toyed with the idea of getting A-Frames at one point but they seem to be hard to get. Where's your go to spot to get them?

CI Distributeing, *** International,Henry N? here on the board. For awhike I was ordering them from anyone that would bring them in, then of course they started comeing from everywhere at once.

I heard a couple of days ago that Doug Rayner of Rayner shine was bringing them in now.

I'm using the 250gr TTSX in my .375 Ruger. I also have loads for 270gr TSX, 260NAB, 300NAB , 300Hornady RN and soon some 350gr Woodleigh loads.

Honestly for moose, any bullet you choose should work.:)

If I ever get to Africa, I may think of using some 300gr TSX for buffalo.:p

All your listed bullets will work, as will most anything made for the .375 magnums. I load 300 gr Gamekings for my father in his Ruger #1 and they've been slaying moose for us for about thirty years. We've also used 300 gr Winchester Silvertips and 300 gr Hornady RN, both of which are absolute hammers at close to medium range.

Truth is, you don't need a super bullet for moose in a .375, but I like to use super bullets anyways. In North American, and for a lot of African stuff, I load the 270gr TSX over a moderate load of H4895. Good do all load, and shoots silly sharp from my .375.

Just bought a hundred 235gr TSXs though, and look forward to trying them. I'm sure it'll be the same .375 story; bang, flop.
