I just picked up a #1 in 375 H&H, I love it

The 375 has more "je ne sais quoi" about it. The .458 is really almost too big. In something like a Ruger No.1 you'd be better off gettting a .45-70 and max loading it that getting a .458 as .45-70 components are ALOT cheaper and easier to come by

Seems the 375 is winning this one... It also gets my vote... Just make sure to take pics of the bullet wound when you shoot your deer with it! :wink:

Go with the 458 Winchester or 416 Rigby.
