Any of you shooters out there have any recipes for this caliber.I just picked up a CZ-BRNO 550 chambered in .375 H&H and would like to try out some different loads.
Thanks in advance.

My standard hunting load

300 grn Swift A Frame

81.0 grn H4350

Win large rifle primer

around 2650 fps out of my Sako 75

I've recently obtained a custom made .375 H&H and just starting to develop loads for it. I've got some 300gr Hornady's, RN & SPBT's I'll be trying soon and will post if 'something' work really well.

My Winchester Super Express loved the max listed dose of IMR4350, WLRM primer, ww case with a 270gr Hornady sp, 300gr Hornady RN and the 285gr Speer GS.
They all shot very well, with the 300's being best, my best group I got was
.880" at 100yds.
Nice caliber choice!

A load that I'll definately try. If the loaded ctg. will fit in the magazine, I usually go for about 0.005" - 0.010" of freebore, especially in 30 cal ctg's.

Nice group!! Especially with something of that size & power. Definately a range of loads I'll have to try out.

Johnn, that is one of the few targets I have had to stick in the back of my reloading binder just to remind myself after a crappy day of shooting that hopefully next time it will go better!
I hope it works well for you, and I sure hope to have a 375 again someday!
To be honest though, it was too much of a good thing for me recoil wise.
Holly used to get my headaches going if I lit her up much more than 20 times in a day, and the chiropractor loved me too. But that stems from my stupid dirt bike crashes............

Be sure to try plain vanilla 270 Hornady spitzers ahead of 65 gr of 3031 and mag primers for an accurate, easy recoiling, and devastating hunting load.

I have put quite a few tons of really big moose and bear away with that load.
