.375 Ruger Brass

Does anyone have any leads on the whereabouts of some .375 Ruger brass, preferably in Alberta? My usual suspects are all out.
 
Make your own by fireforming 300 Win mag...........that way you can pick your favorite brass and go, not stuck with Horn or poor availability.

Here's some photos of how well it works.




I have made up 100 W-W for my own 375 Ruger, wouldn't use Horn brass in any rifle I own.........

could you describe exactly how you did it? What powder and how much you used? Also, what bullet did you stuff in the top?
Got tons of .300wm brass sitting around and wanna give it a try.

Just picked up two boxes. Thanks for the heads up.
One day I'll try converting cases, but it seems a wee bit intimidating for one of my experience at the moment.

The case in front of the belt is stretching outward from .513 to .532, how many times have you fired these converted cases. I'm wondering about the stress just above the belt and if you have ever had any case head separations at this point.

I can't speak to what Doug did, but I just bought a couple boxes of Winchester factory ammo in 300 win mag and fired them in my howa 1500 in 375 ruger. Then I resized them and trimmed to length
 
bep51.........I was concerned about that possibility as well.........If the case was going to fracture it would be at the belt line, so I took a case to the range along with components and fired it 7 times with well over max load and the brass formed perfectly..........I then took it home and sectioned it........no sign of a crack line or fracture at all.
 
sgt rock...........sorry, I did answer you and then forgot to post it..........now I lost it. Anyway I just load a normal 300 WM load using IMR 4350 cause I have lots and some junk 180s I had.........I think. Take them to the range and insert into 375 Ruger chamber and pull the trigger......open bolt and remove 375 Ruger case. One word of advice is do not try to load reduced or light loads as you will just be wasting components........load 300 max loads plus.........you don't have to worry about pressure in the 375 bore but you need enough to form the case properly.
