.375 Ruger(RCM)

Picked up a Ruger .375RCM today. Has anyone worked up any loads yet? Would RL-22 be a good powder? Thanks in advance for any information.

I thought it was 300 RCM or 338 RCM - Ruger Compact Magnum.

You are right. I stand corrected, its a 375 Ruger, for some reason I thought it was also listed as a RCM. Its one of the nicest Rugers I have seen, nice wood, metal to wood fit is excellent. I hope it shoots as good as it looks. Dies and brass on the way.

The 300 gr TSX did well with 79 grs of 760 in the .375 Ruger, and gave us just over 2500 fps. I wasn't quite as happy with the velocity from the 260 gr AB, but it was cold out during our testing. A reduced load of 16 grs of Unique proved to be a good small game load pushing a 270 gr bullet at 1200. We plan to do more testing with Hodgdon's Hybryd 100 powder when we can get some. As of now, burn rates similar to 4350 seem to do the best.

RL22 is most likely too slow burning to give ideal velocity. 4064,Varget, RL15, IMR 4007ssc, W760, H414, 4350s, and the new RL17 should all give good speeds & accuracy in the king of 375s
