When the .375 Ruger first came out I was hoping we would eventually see more 30/06 length offerings from Ruger on the .375 case. I was a little disappointed when they came out with the Compact Mags.

If the cost of wildcatting wasn't an issue, what would you build on the .375 Ruger case?

I'd like a .358-.375 Ruger, or even though it would redundant with only. 009" difference a 9.3-.375 Ruger. That would be cool.

For me Ruger missed the boat by sizing the case to .375, they should have gone 9.3 and had something unique instead of just another .375. I wonder if a 9.3 Ruger would shoot flatter?? Of course no game animal would know the difference, nor would a 9.3 sell as many rifles, but I have been thinking of a custom 9.3-.375 Ruger for a long time but been thinking of the cost to have something thats only .009" different.

the 375 RUgr has been out for quite awhile now in wildcatter terms:)

I've seen 338-375 Ruger and the 416 Ruger was wildcatted about 15 minutes after 375 RUger brass hit the shelves..

The reason RUger went with .375 rather than 9.3 is because the 9.3 wouldn't sell nearly as well.:)
