Well. Such pettiness.the hecklers ... They don't have anything else to contribute.
This thread sucks! How'd I do?Actually I think some of the detractors have a man crush on you Gate, sort of like the guy pulling a girl's pony tail in grade 6 that he secretly admires.

This thread is on it' s way to getting locked. Play nice and keep it civil: Enough with the heckling from all parties. If we can't keep it on topic it no longer serves a purpose.
I'll begin deleting threads and handing out infractions if it continues.
Fair warning. Let's hope it's listened to.
Today I had a chance to get out to our range with my FN .375(21" barrel). I had acquired a box of Sierra 250 gr BT's that I wanted to check out. I decided to try them with IMR4350 because I have lots of it.
Results
80 gr - 2714 fps
81 gr - 2742 fps
82 gr - 2775 fps
83 gr - 2815 fps
Accuracy was pretty good with all 3 shot groups running 1-1 /14" and they shot to the same point of impact as 270 TTX's at 2700 fps. I was shooting in the heat with pretty intense heat waves.
Honestly, I was a little disappointed in the velocities. I have shot 260 gr Accubonds to about 2870 fps out of this rifle using RL15. Next time out, I'll be trying RL15 and RL17.
Perhaps the 4350 is a bit too slow for these lighter bullets.
Getting a variety of loads ready for testing in my H&H and curious. Yor're talking about an H&H also?? Got a selection from Matrix to work with as well.
the sierra 250 bt are the most accurate bullet in my 375 H&H by far. i love them for paper punching.
No. I'm talking about a .375 Ruger. I've edited my post.

' so I'm sittin here lookin at a 30-30 case and lo and behold its 3/8" at the base. Now for those that can't figure it out that's .375 inch! So I'll just blow out a 30-30 and load 375 bullets and have one hell of a new 375 brush gun!! Can't believe someone never thought it before!'
