How did he feel about Partitions?

He liked partitions, loved the Swift .A frames. I think I took pics of some buy I think the Barnes just did not open. He had designed bullets for his 470 double , a solid with a kind of wadcutter design, cut the skin nice and left a much better blood trail than normal solids.

My 375 took ten plains animals with one shot, except this kudu took a finisher.

that Barnes looks like a 350gr TSX. I'm guessing impact speed was a little low
