Hey guys, I was hoping someone could help me with my search for some .375 win rounds or give me a tip on acquiring the bullets. I have purchased cases, primers and dyes already in anticipation that I will have to reload my own...I know this ammo is scarce now to say the least but I believe Winchester still manufactures it. Any help would be awesome!
Sierra makes a 200 gr flat nose bullet for the .375 and according to their web site Ellwood Epps (site sponsor) sells them.
You should look into casting your own lead bullets. You can achieve almost as much killing power with a heavier (say 250 - 280 gr) cast lead bullet at 1600-1700 fps as a 200 gr jacketed bullet at 2000 fps. And if you want to do a lot of plinking it is a lot cheaper.
I have to look into casting my own as well. Is it legal to hunt with 'all lead' bullets? Where would one find the supplies to start casting bullets? Who sells lead bullets? I'll have to check out Elwood epps. Thanks Golden!

Look up Cabelas or Wholesale Sports or Ellwood Epps or some of the other site sponsors. There's lots of suppliers for casting equipment. You could look on this site's Equipment Exchange too.
Basically all you need is a heat source (I've used open fires, Coleman stoves and commercial melting pots), something to melt the lead in (a cast iron pot is good), a bullet mold, some bullet lubricant and optionally, a sizer. Check out YouTube for "How To" videos.
There are at least a couple of guys on this forum who sell cast bullets and I know of a very good supplier in eastern Ontario - I just can't think of his name. I'll have to get back to you.
