First of all many thanks to the fellow nutters that have helped me attain and aquire everything from dies to bullets for this "dead" caliber, I am very close to actually getting to fire this beauty.
I have acquired the following to make a 100 rounds of .375 win:
- 100 Winchester brass cases
- 100 Sierra FP 200 gr. pro hunter bullets
- 100 CCI large rifle primers
- Hodgdon H322 propellant
- Lee dies
And of course my Winchester XTR Big Bore!!!!
I do have to ask once again for some input from ya'll on a few things to make sure I'm 'getting it right the first time'. Firstly I don't have a press yet..any suggestions there? Since I bought Lee Dies should I be buying a Lee press?? I don't have any loading data except what's in the manual of the Lee dies, which suggested H322 powder by the way, which loading data book is best?? Is H322 a good powder for this cal or do you have other suggestions?? I've looked at other possibilities like leverlution and lil gun. Lastly my Die set has 5 components: sizing die, bullets seating die, expanding die, shell holder and powder dipper. Do I need any other dies? Specifically do I need a crimping die for after I seat the bullet? I know I need a caliper and probably a powder scale.
So far so good I think. What would you guys do different?
Any input would be appreciated a ton!
