.375 Wsm?

Bothy the 450 Noveske and the 375WSM were both used on grizz with absolutely no problems.
Don't let a wildcat hold ya back from putting one together!

I'm sure they have, but I really am not a fan of 99.9% of wildcats- There is a factory cartridge that will do just about anything. I don't even like AI cartridges much, either...Thankfully, the .375 Ruger came out just before I was going to have a .375 AI/Weatherby built.
;)

Hmm, but a 375 Ruger is a step DOWN from a 375 Wby/AI (the Wby isn't even a wildcat actually, I have factory brass for one). One would assume if you wish to keep large furry creatures from snacking on your ass, that you would choose the better option. :D - dan

No,the Wby isn't really a Wildcat, but I don't know if anyone is chambering rifles for that cartridge these days.:) A shame, really, since it's probably a better cartridge for 99% of the hunters than it's replacement,t he 378 Wby.

Using equal barrel lengths, I think the Ruger and Wby would run neck and neck for velocity. You would have to step up to the .375 RUM to get any real gain in velocity.:p
