38-55 Ammo

Hi everyone. I am from Nova Scotia and I am wondering if anyone knows of any other factory smokeless 38-55 ammo other than winchester?

Not sure if anyone else makes 38-55, except owners that reload. Have you checked with Dan at Leaf and Limbs in Antigonish or Vahalla in Bible Hill?

Imperial used to back in the day. I've got several boxes here which I have absolutely no use for. I'd pass them on to you but geographics make that out of the question. Have you thought about loading? 38-55's are well suited to cast bullets as well.

I really have never thought about trying loading but I may have to think about taking that up!

As factory ammo, it's quite expensive and hard to find, reloading them with cast bullets, makes it among the least expensive to shoot.

Depends on how much you want to shoot it. Not counting the cost of the brass or the equipment, you can plan on about 25-30¢ a round with lead bullets.
