38-55 bullet choice

Hope you guys can suggest a bullet for reloading fir the 38-55. at this point I am not set up to cast bullets so looking for a bullet I can buy. Any suggestions!

These guys can fix you up. Great to deal with, good prices. If you are looking for jacketed bullets, Remington and Hornady sell bullets of the right size. You will wnat to slug the bore of you rifle and verify its diameter. Depending on when it was made there were some fluctations but most were .379.

If you have a Wholesale sports around, they might have some cast bullets that will work. I know the stores here in Edmonton carry them.

I used to use .375 bullets with fairly good results when I was loading for 38-55.

I was shooting them out of a Winchester '94.
