Anybody know where I can buy .38 rimfire cartridges in GTA area, or a dealer with the stuff who ships within or to Canada?

"...last made in the 1920s..." Likely long before then. Any larger than .22 rimfire ammo will be collector grade stuff.

Dixie sells a neat item. They are available for various rimfires like .32, .38, 41 and a bunch more oddball stuff.

For .38rf, its a casing that uses a .22 blank offset for a primer, you scoop up all the BP you can get into it and load a .370 roundball on top and voila!

The only problem is how to import. From what I gather, its tough to import reloading components but I don't have a clue first hand so maybe an expert can chime in.

Thanks for the tip, found it at http://www.dixiegunworks.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_101_287&products_id=8156

According to a CFC factsheet, I can import 5000 or less cartridges at a time for personal use, so I'm sure I'll have no problems importing these casings...

Republiman,
I am about 1.5 hrs east of DVP & 401. I have some old 38 rim amo.I might have as many as 50 rounds. No box. Will trade fr 100 44-40 or 45 long colt winchester modern amo.All appear to be in good shape ,but absolutely NO guarantees!!
