I have a 1942 Colt Police Positive in 38 S&W. I honestly believe it’s never been shot. The finish is pristine for an 80 year old gun. I might as well start shooting it if I can never sell it. Have to find dies to reload the brass.
You could sell it if you wanted to. That will not bring what a 38 sp will, but the colt guys will like it, and you can still transfer, thou where you are it will be slow as hell.
Gunshows for dies, I had a couple sets, and some brass, but gone now.
If it is unfired, as you say, why mess it up if you have others.
Why I always hated commemoratives, they can't be shot ,if you want to fetch top dollar
Not sure about the brass, but if I had any left would be just a few.
I kind of think I seen some at the local CT , but I have been wrong before, I just look at their ammo to see how ridicules prices have got.
