38 S&W 200 grn load needed.

Looking for loads for the 38S&W, I am going to work up a load for a 200 grn bullet.

I want to get it at about 650 fps so can anyone help?

BTW, this is not the 38 Special!

Cartriges of World, 6th ed. : 3.1gr Unique

Modern reloading, 2nd ed.: 2.3gr Accur#2

I haven't tried either one; both are "do not exceed" levels.

Good article in "Pet Loads" Waters, on highpower 38S&W loads including 200gr.

Found a .38 S&W load's for a 195gr cast, #358430, in the Lyman Pistol & Revolver Handbook, 3rd edition. Send me your e-mail address if you're interested. In addition, there are .38 S&W loads listed in the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook, 3rd edition, but it doesn't have loads listed for anything heavier than 158grs.
