.38 S&W from .38 special

I have two reloading manuals and neither one of them has data for .38 S&W 200grain bullets(38/200 Webley) which is what I thought these were supposed to use.

The Lyman manual says that the loads they list are for solid frame revolvers only and aren't to be used for break open revolvers.

Can anyone recommend a manual that would have this load?

Readily available are you kidding. Just visited about 16 Gunshops from Vancouver Island to Prince George hunting for Loadet 38 S&W and or new or good used Brass no Luck so far.

Wikipedia is NOT a reloading data source. It's not a good source for much of anything.
Nor is the .38 S&W just a shorter .38 Special. It uses a larger diameter bullet for one. The issue load used a 200 grain lead RN bullet for another. GO BUY A MANUAL!
However, the +P stamp is only there so the factory knows what's in the loaded cartridge at a glance. The case is no different from any other .38 Special case.
.38 S&W brass and ammo is readily available.

Update: I fired the 45 other cartridges I had made up and they all performed flawlessly. No bulged casings or anything, and the rounds all felt and sounded good, primers looked good afterwards, no messy unburnt powder or anything. The pistol was shooting very accurately at 10 yards.
I will be reloading these and shooting them some more, If I encounter any issues I will be sure to post an update, but so far I am very pleased with how the franken-ammo is working.
and in reply to Bandit86 about the case trimmer; that would work too I am sure, but I had access to a machine shop and a machinist who was excited to do the work. It was fast, easy, and looked super-cool.
