I picked up a Enfield no.2 mk.1 revolver over the winter and now that its shooting season I need to get some ammo, Problem is i can find any!

am I looking in the wrong place or is .38S&W really this hard to find?

Is that the same as .38 special?

its is a pita to find at times winchester and remington still make it last ones i got was from lebarons. You can cut down 38 special and use the .360 bullets if you reload

its not the same as 38 special its a much shorter casing and uses a .360 bullet insted of the .357 of the special

38 S&W ammo is not the most common ammo to be found. Around here, factory ammo runs about $45/box. Get set up for reloading, and you're laughing.

There are differences, the brass is wider by the same amount as the bullet, or .003 give or take. Winchester and Remington make ammo, but harder to find and pricy when you do. Your enfield is likely sighted for the 38/200 cartridge, none in production that I know of. Handloaders definately do well with this cartridge!
