Really?! can you give me ruling on that? At my BB this summer they told me 627 went right to open, no other options...i was not a happy camper! I most certianly wish you to be correct! (or does ontario have it's own weird rules...not that THAT would surprise me)

Yep, just look up the list of handguns approved for Production

I have been through this many times. Most IPSC shooters and BB Instructors know very little about revolver rules in IPSC (or IDPA for that matter) so they perpetuate a lot of myths and misinformation. Unintentionally of course, but unhelpful never-the-less.
