38 Specials in 357 tubular magazine

If a tube magazine holds 9 357s, will it be able to hold more than 9 38 specials? Or is the difference in length between the two not enough to matter?

I'm pretty sure you will get 10 .38 specials in there....I'll let the pros chime in though

My Henry that holds 10 357 will hold 11 38 spl depending on the oal.

There is only about 0.1 inch (roughly) between the two. You MIGHT get one more in. You will have to try and confirm, plus confirm normal feeding.

In my Marlin that I use for CAS, I can only get in 9 .357 magnum rounds, using the normal cast bullets. I can get in 10 .38 Special so that is what I use.
