What are your go to loadings for 38 spl for accuracy?

I have used the campros, plated 125, 158 and had thought I liked 3.6 gn Bullseye behind a 148 gn plated hbwc but have lately decided otherwise. Also figuring out a good load with unique with the Missouri 158 lswc.

Will be shooting these out of 4.2 inch and 6.5 inch barrels, Rugers

158 lead swc 4.5 gr Herco Fed 100sp has been my favorite it out shoots wad cutters in my 38 and 357 revolvers. 3 gr of Bullseye 148 gr hollow base wad cutter Fed 100sp for my S&W model 52

It seems like there's love for HBWC over LSWC. May have to pick myself up some that are not plated and give another shot

this seems like a light charge, would you happen to know what velocities you were getting from it?

3.1 bullseye over 158 lswc for distinguished ppc load
2.7 or 2.8 bullseye behind 148 grain hbwc standard ppc load
Also 3.5 bullseye behind the 158 for a steel plate load or a hot distinguished load
2.5 grains of clays behind 148 hbwc

I found that a 148gr HBWC over 2.8gr of Alliant Bullseye was very accurate in my S&W K38 & model 52-2.

I was using this^^^ when I had Bullseye.
It worked well in my Ruger Security six.
I run WW231 now, and about 3.2 grains of it. My Sec6 and S&W 14 are happy with the 231 loads.
