Just wondering if anyone has experimented with a heavy bullet--- 115 gr in 380 acp. I'll likely use unique or 700x. Any one tried this? Looking for advice.

Weight of the projectile is not an issue. Issue lays in the shape of the bullet. To fit in to mags and feed reliably the 115 gr bullet has to be round nosed and with straight walls. It has to be seated deep enough as well.
If you plan to use 115 9mm Para bullet then you will run in the issues like, over crimping due to conical construction and not enough of support at the case mouth. Then it leads to COL being too long and your cartridge won't fit in your mag.
None of 9x19 bullets will work in 380 due to their construction. Best ones to use is Barry's 100 gr copper plated 380 bullets that are specifically made for 380 acp.

Speer NR 11 loading manual lists 10 powders with min & max loads for 115gr TMJ & hollow point.
I have not used 115gr in my BDA380 though.
