I actually have a chance to guy a Browing BDA 45 auto, early ones with the heal release, price asking is $600.00,,and it's in mint shape with one mag,,is this worth buying,i love my High Powers,i have and 1972 HP,,and a Inglis that still has cosmoline in it,so if the price is good,,i'd consider buying this 45 if they are pretty accurate,
The BDA is actually a SIG P220. Exact same gun, different name. 1970-1980s vintage. I had the SIG version with the heel release. It's a fantastic shooter and very accurate. Unfortunately, I sold mine back then to fund another purchase. But I missed it so much, I bought a newer 220 again recently. I paid $430 back then for the SIG.
If in good shape, $500 will be my offer. The guns are not actually rare.
