3D printed AR mag cycles 342 rounds

Sure solves the problem of magazine shortages. Wonder if they have a design that is pinned to 5?

This could probably be easily edited for that. http://defcad (dot) org/ar-15-magazine/

Tinfoil time?

I sent him an e-mail and he replied saying: "Someone has flagged it and YT agreed it was inappropriate..."

There was someone in the comments section who was saying that people like him (Cody) are the reason why guns should be banned to "civvies".
Safe to say, that comment got disliked so much it was removed, I imagine that guy might've been a little pissed, so he could have potentially been the one to report it, but what blows me away is the fact that YT would agree and ban this vid.

Removed because it was "a violation of youtube's policy against spam, scams and commercially deceptive content".....LOL that makes tons of sense...

One of our dealers here had mag prototypes printed and tested them for fit and function, did it with 2 different materials, this was about 3 years ago.

Really? What kind of results did he get?

By the way, some of you may have noticed that the original video they uploaded which was removed by YT, has been un-removed by YT.
Justice prevails.

Making a mag of prohibited capacity for civilian use surely is already illegal in the places with magazine bans. They don't need to make a special law for 3D printed ones.

They will just make printing 3d mags illegal.

That is virtually impossible at this point, I'll elaborate.

1. There have been over 100,000 downloads of the magazine. If you ban it from public download, it'll simply be spread via e-mail. If you somehow make it impossible to share by any means of online communication, the information can just be shared physically via thumb drives, CDs, etc etc.

2. The knowledge to build a basic 3D printer has become too wide spread. Case and point, a boy in Greece made one out of lego.
You can make a 3D printer with a glue gun and a couple stepper motors, with surprisingly good results.

3. The tools to design these magazines are free and widely available. If this mag becomes banned somehow, someone else will just make a new one, and that action could be repeated infinitely.

When a government has the level of control that is able to prevent the sharing of such knowledge, it'll be a very dark day for us all.

The magazine will be banned.

Or if they can't ban the magazine, they will just ban all the guns that use that magazine.

History has time and time again proven that bans do not work.
Swords, knives, bagpipes, alcohol, etc.....it has all been tried.
