I like to tinker and design improvements to the more economic chassis models such as the MDT XRS and KRG Bravo. I will share some of the pieces I’ve worked on. I hope others have cool add-ons to share that may inspired each other.

First is the tool-less butt height adjustment for the XRS

I haven’t designed one yet but it should be easy to transfer the dimensions since I have designed spacers for the Bravo. My X-Ray already has this built in. Does that mean you have an older version?

Thanks, I go back and forth between packing and bench play. I pull off the scope and use the irons for gongs, and have a stripped down non adjustable stock, to lighten her up. My adult kids love it the best for plinking, so compact and fun.

Mine definitely doesn't, it's a Gen 1. I think similar to the Bravo.

Ive designed a few piece for the KRG bravo. Mirage shields, bag riders, ARDs, extended mag releases and more

Hi Daver, full printed chassis is serious work! Have you done it for centerfire rifles? I am curious what filament is good for that kind of impact / shock

I have been playing with the 12ga a bit.

No guarantees on longevity but seems to be holding OK.

I am careful about heat though.

I usually stick to rim fire.. the little badgers have a lot of field time.

I’m working on a FTR chassis but using metal parts so the printed portion will just be the adaptor that joins all the pieces together. I think PETG to start and maybe carbon fibre PETG if neededr were

Are there files for thes XRS parts online anywhere? The adjustable butt pad is exactly what I need.

Very cool thread OP and contributers. I've been thinking about getting into 3D printing but know nothing.
Are there places where you can get the models? What sort of printers and wire is best for gun accessories? etc.?

I recommend the Ender 3 series of printers with petg filament. You can get into more exotic nylon and carbon fibre later. Most models for firearms accessories are self designed. There are some on Thingiverse and other model sharing sites.

I needed more cant than the offset bushings that came with my Burris rings would give me for my 22, so I made 3d printed ones to get about 50-55 moa total offset. I'm working on modifying a dope card holder to attach to my scope rail, and I made knobs so that I don't need a wrench to adjust my cheekpiece height. The rifle I'm using for rimfire PRS is mostly homemade mods to save money, but only a few little things are 3d printed.
