I'm new to 3D printing and thought I would try my hand at a thumbsaver speed loader. I found the open source model (stl available free on request) on the internet, so I take no credit for the design. Printed it in PLA and after some initial tinkering with the infill and layer thickness this is what I got. My printer is an Afinibot Creality 3d portable and I'm using Repetier-Host software to control it. It's a decent printer for the price.

The speedloader works really well and I'm very happy with the results. The nice thing about 3D printing, is that if I break the piece of lose it, I can print another one in about 40 minutes.

Although the speedloader is designed for the Ruger MK series magazines, these also work on Browning Buckmark magazines as well.

cheers

I'm having fun with my 3d printer. I've had good success printing a number of these as well as a few other related items. In the spirit of goodwill, if anyone would like one, I'll give you one for free. Well, almost free....how about you donate something to the veterans food bank as a pay it forward kind of gesture. Your choice of color is white since that is the only filament I have at the moment.

If you want to pay shipping, I'm game to send one to you. From recent experience, shipping costs through Canada post are higher than anticipated. The smallest package I can pack this thing into is 18cm x 12cm x 3cm and the weight is .020 (kg) Shipping is from T2V 1P1. Plug that info into the CP website to get an idea of the shipping.

Anyone local to Calgary AB or surrounding area, I'll do a local meet up.

Cheers
