So a couple years ago I did my first 3D printed firearm accessories, that was a replacement stock and for-end for my .22lr little badger.
That gun has more small game and pest kills than I can even keep track of sniping mice and other critters living in the garage with CB caps or .22 quiets.
I absolutely loved that gun... so when a 9mm flobert (tiny rimfire shotgun shell) little badger came available in the EE I bought it right away.
I have been busy designing and 3d printing firearms stocks, chassis, and accessories for a while now to personalize my guns, and it seemed fitting to give my tiny rimfire shotgun the same treatment as its .22lr borther.
couple hours, and a couple whiskeys later (and 26hrs of printing) out came all the parts for this ready for install.
front sight, replaced just a standard bead with a rib, and post.
"V" Rear sight, (print orientation gave some nice serration lines for glare reduction) and low profile optic rail segment printed into the rib.
Ammo storage in the stock, friction fit with just enough resistance that shells slide in and out with finger pressure.
Pictured with its older brother
Folded, - the longer barrel of the shotgun, and the less aggressive angle of the stock means it wont fold as tight as the .22, but the next picture shows how the both guns take up almost the same space with the optic on the .22
Came long way from this:
Love this pair of guns, for some quiet, light, practical backpack/survival guns.
Here are links to some of my other projects and write ups:
Little badger .22lr
Henry AR7
Laser target
Bullpup pellet gun
survival themeshotgun
Savage MK2 chassis prototype
