3G comp install

It's a torque limiting washer. Needs to be turned 90 deg minimum from hand tight or it could come loose. Then you have another 360 deg to line it up. Don't back of at all if you go past, the torque drops quickly and again it could come loose. Don't reuse - crush washers are a single use item.
Please, if it's returnable, return first.
The comp/brake is of poor design. Drives gun down with terrible follow-up.
I took it off my 3G rifle for a different brake.
With that said, brakes may not want to be a 12 o'clock. Some prefer 1-1:30 if right handed so it drives down in a direction that's supported.
