3gun match at AFGC Aug 16th **REG FORM ADDED**@@Video Added@@

EMT and forms sent, for Tactical class.
Could you please clarify ammo restrictions for classes.
And how many mags are recommended each stage?

The capacity on the forms is the amount you are allowed to have in the gun to start on any given stage if its a start loaded stage.
As for how many mags, lots! Lol j/k
Depends on your skill level but 3 should be good.

Just a reminder for those of you that have shot my match before and a heads up for those that haven't.

Please remember to bring two chamber flags for your long guns as we require them when moving from stage to the next.

Also any steel ammo, jacketed, cored, cased, etc, is NOT ALLOWED! If it sticks to my magnet, you won't be using it.

To clarify, I have wolf ammo, the case
is metal not the projectile. Is that allowed or no?

If it sticks to the magnet when placed on the tip of the bullet then it is a no go.

Also a reminder that setup is tomorrow around 4:00 until it's done. Please try and make it out as it will give us more time for shooting on sat.

On sat, the shooters meeting is at 9:30 and we start shooting at 10:00. Please come a it earlier incase we need help with any last minute setup.

It'll be close to that time when we finish. Apparently I wasn't keeping track well enough and we're slightly over capacity for the match. But by all means come out and check it out.

What a great shoot! Thank you Maverik for putting on another great match. Also a big thanks for to everyone (and that was every single one of the shooters) that scored, patched, restaged and tore down the stages. It was great to have guys and 1 girl, eager to lead a hand, equipment or rounds.

One question though.... When is the next one?

Your welcome!.................lol

But burn that gd vtac wall first!

What one the rifle or the shotgun wall???
That was a Fun stage.. Even though I DQ'd that one for not having the safety on when I ditched my rifle.
Maybe one suggestion on that stage ...perhaps there could be a 20 round limit on each wall to speed things up a little....

Both.......even though by sheer luck I managed to hit the a zone plate thru every hole with the rifle. My face made an excellent butt stock rest!!!!

Vtac wall was definitely challenging. Maybe too challenging for a club match but it definitely needs carpet, rubber or plywood base. Crushed rock is a little ouchie, especially since I used my head as a third point of contact with the ground.

Lol. Yes I totally agree. I thought I had asked someone to cut some carpet from the container but apparently I didn't.

There will be carpet for the next one!

Great shoot Curtis.
As for the carpets that guys are asking for for the wall...how about just allow us to bring our own shooting mat.
