I didn't even know there was a 4.2" 586 available, I've only ever seen the 6" model.

Not right now, now that I've bought my 627 PC, I'm saving for a 10mm 1911.

Yeah ,,,Good memory johNTO.
I don't believe there are plans for any more to be brought in at this time .
I don't think there was enough interest .
My local dealer got mine specially, from the (Canadian) Smith & Wesson shot show, in 2012.
And might be Very Very Rare.
at least till they do finally do make a special run for Canada , like the 686 and the 4.2 " 629.
