i was just looking at some medium fram S&W revolver (model 520 hiviz to be exact) and am just wondering since there prohibs if theres anything similar with a 4.1" barrel length or over
I have picked up a very special 686-6. It is a L frame with 5" half lug barrel. It is very well balanced. You may get a M60, it is a J frame. These two are the only 5" revolvers you can get from S&W.
You might be able to find a used S&W K frame revolvers in 5" trim, such as the M-10, or the Victory. You could purchase a longer barreled gun and have it shortened by a gunsmith.
