I have a tanker almost done. It is an old stainess target barrel cut to 20" The last 4 inches are the same diameter as the original barrel at the muzzle. Chambered in 30/303 so I can use match 308 bullets. Rob McLennen has the reamer. It shoots very well.
Have not yet fitted the top wood. Will have to hollow it out a lot to clear the heavy barrel.
