I just saw that wholesale sports has some 4" revolvers (like a s&w 629) on their website. How can these be legal in canada?

If 4" revolvers can be bought in Canada I want one!

it is legal for Wholesale to catalog them, since everyone, including teh CFC knows WSS doesn't actually have anything they catalog

you need to investigate further-it's common for wholesale sports to have 'MISTAKES' throughout their catalogue, why should the website be any different?-besides, in a 4 inch tube the 44 is going to be a bear on a smith
they don't allow allow barrels of under 105 mm as they fall into the prohiibited catagory-so wholesale couldn't get them across the border anyway

I think that they just used the picture without thinking about it, as others have said, other than for issue handguns for government agencies 12(6) handguns cannot be legally imported.

I called Wholesale about the 4" models way back... mistake in catalog (was actually a 6" model or something stupid like that).

Now, the shortest barrel'd (i.e. Canada Legal - Retail) revolver I know of is the S&W 460V 5" model... it was restricted, then prohibited for 3 months, then restricted again. The barrel is something like 105.6mm

If I could get a revolver I'd be tempted for this model.
:D
