I have a 5/20 Chinese M14 mag, it consistently fails to feed the 5th round, the last round ejects ejects (weakly) rather than feeds properly after the 4th round is fired and ejects. Does this in more than 1 rifle, so it's not the rifle. Problem is? Is it fixable?
 
How is it pinned? Or does it have a long tail on the follower?

If it's pinned, I would start by moving one loop of the spring up over the rivet to give it more pushing power to lift that last round. If it does't work, try moving the spring the other way...

I'll see if I can do that. Never tried to take apart one of these riveted mags. Thanks for the advice.
