40 135 gr in IPSC

I tried it before, because my gun is a 1911 format ( STI) it runs better with 1.180 aol.Almost impossible to get my desired 1.180(aol) with the 135gr. so I swithched to 155gr, with 1.160,and it works 100%. powder of choice was vhit. n350,n105 because its the only powder availiable back home
I shoot a 1911 para in 40
I load right now 10 grs longshot with 135 plated bullet
bullet sized to .401
I load to 1.135
seems to work well
loaded 180 gr to same lenght and chambered and feed well
if bullet is .525 in lenght
and case is .840
I have .285 in case to grip and crimp to
should be enough I dont think 9 major has that much
will try grouping them next to see if hot enough to work comp
