I bought a Used Llama .40 Auto at a Pawn shop the other day and went out today to try it out for the first time. I first test Fired my Girlfriends Used 9mm Firecat that we bought at a local Gun shop last week. The 9mm worked out pretty good and with a good cleaning and oiling should work out fine for her.
It was having a little bit of a problem with ejecting the fired casing. I then got out my .40 Cal. Llama. I told her it will be louder than her 9mm. (we had on ear protectors) I aimed and squeezed the trigger, Click, Great!
I thought maybe a bad round, I pulled the hammer back again and Click. so, I pulled the hammer back one more time, Click. I dropped the clip out and pulled the slide back slowly, I checked the round and the primer had not even been touched. Great! So, I took the gun home and found the firing pin to be broke. I remember looking at it in the store and you could see the pin in the firing pin hole, but it was not there now. I pulled the pin out and looked on line and found one on Ebay. Hopefully, I'll have it back working again by next weekend. I could try to get my money back, but I think I got a pretty good deal on the gun even though the firing pin is broke.
