I have some 160gr CMJ by Frontier that I picked up at a local gunshow, for 40 cal / 10mm. I can't find anything load data for a 160 gr pill. Would like to use with W-231, plinking rounds, 40 S&W M&P.

Figure if I pick a load roughly mid point of the data of Hodgdons for 155 / 165 loads I should be good to go?

Yes, mid point is fine, but not the mid point of the max load.

Since we're talking about plinking, just use 165gr data. Bullet construction and seating depth are bigger variables than 3% of weight, and you will play a little safer.
