I've only seen two squibs happen in .40 and I've noticed the same thing (one was mine, one was another person).
I noticed that in both, the bullet only went down the barrel about 1/4 - 1/2 inch, and that the next round would not chamber properly..
so my question is.. is this "normal" based on the weight of the .40 and not having enough energy (from just the primer) to move further down and cause a more dangerous obstruction further down the barrel..
