You need a .40 S&W Lee Factory Crimp Die and the Bulge buster as an add on plus a regular reloading press. It pushes the entire shell through the Factory Crimp die sizing the bulge back to spec.
Do you do this before or after the round is loaded?
EGW sells an undersized sizing die made by Lee that might size your brass enough to avoid having to use a push-through setup. Using one has cured nosedive misfeeds with my .40 Browning Hi Power.
i had the Lee bulge buster as soon as it was available from Lee, and it works like a charm. Fast and easy to use. No issue's at all. Great little piece to have for the money. I can't say that about all Lee equipment, but I can for this on!
The Lee kit is supposed to be used on unloaded brass, but I know that some folks have use it successfully on loaded rounds. Be safe & YMMV etc...
