.40 S&W Carbines: Hi-Point/Olympic/Beretta

Deckard, if the carbines were to have a barrel change to lengths meeting a non-restricted rifle, would then these rifles be listed as non-restricted?

Thanks!

Okay so it stands I would take a Hi point if I could find a cheap one and diy it to make it more un-fugly. or the freedom ventures one:)

darn it!

well, i guess I can deal with that..:(

a few pages back the mechtech or magtech pistol/carbine conversion came up. is the conversion permanent enough that I could have a "legal length barrel" and end up with a non-restricted rifle? or will that converison allways be deemed a restricted firearm?

thanks for the help!

Always restricted due to the HG frame.

I have a Mech Tech in 45ACP and it is wonderfully accurate and runs great with 200gr SWC Lee cast bullets. Since picking this up, I shoot my SKS less and less.

How about SG shells at 45yds if you can hold it? 5 more rds to plink before a reload too.
