40 S&W Drg 180 grn Reloading help

I trying to use up old is a sod bullets I have and am trying to load 180 grn Rnf cast bullets . I have my 650 set up for campro 180 Grn flat point at 4.5 grn titgroup col 1.30
I was reading on the Hodgdon site the with cast and Copper plated the load data is pretty much the same .
When I did a dummy round it sat the bullet very low but what looked like the appropriate place to seat. And the COL is 1.07 .
I checked the lymen 49th and the list two bullets (#401043 ) COL 1.125 and (# 401638) COL 1.100.
What would be the best COL to get

Do the plunk test in your barrel.

Check the height, round in the barrel, using a factory round, and then compare with your reloaded round.

Good to know about the campro’s I did not know that ? How do they compare to frontier or Berry’s ? I have used some of campro data for my 45 frontier (4.5grn) titegroup over 230grn and same with frontier 40 cal 180grm (4.5grn) titegroup. Berry’s 124grb I am using 4.1 grn titegroup

Read the link below and the postings by Wobbly and his drawings, this applies to all pistols. Or just keep it simple and seat to the crimping groove and see how they shoot.
