.40 S&W falling out of favor?

I currently shoot a cz75 in 40 and i like it. I kinda miss shooting nine just because its cheaper. I find its worth while to load nine. I still load it for my dad. Usually the cheapest factory nine is $250/1000 and i load it for around $165/1000. I load 40 for $210/1000 which isnt bad but thats not counting brass cost. I have to buy 40 brass but 9mm brass is always free at the range.

I've been tempted by that GP 10mm as well. Was having trouble seeing the point in 10mm in large revolvers (not to say I could not appreciate a 610). It makes more sense in a medium frame.

You probabily already know that S&W are re-introducing the 610 this year
