40 S&W for H&K

Hello people.....was wondering if anyone of you have experience loading for a H&K P30L in 40 S&W....I've tried Sierra JHP 180, and Hornady XTP 180grs, with W-231 and was off by about 1 foot+ down and 1 foot+ left at 20yrds.....even tried some factory AE 180 FMJ after, thinking that my loads had maybe somthing to do, but same thing happened.... I am not the best shooter, but I know that I'm not the major problem here.... I usually do my own tests, but I'd like the easy road on this pistol, having more important tests elsewhere to do... Anyone tried some 155, 165, or even 200 grs?

I've shot thousands of 180 gr factory ammo through my HK P30L with the gun being more accurate than myself. Are you benching/using a rest when doing your tests?

Thanks for the reply Neil...an honest answer is no, I did not....but I've shot other pistols before, without having this problem and I trust my capacities to a certain point....if i'd shoot 2-3" low left, it wouldn't be such an issue, but I am way off. I am very happy to here from someone who actually has shot the same pistol....that said, I will certainly try with a rest anyways thanks!
