40 s&w ipsc load

Titegroup is cheap. I use 3.7gr under an Aim 175gr plated bullet and get 135 power factor. I load to 1.125" for length though.

155gr semi-wad with 4.5gr of Win 231 works well with my M&P.40. Cycles well and put the steel down, when I can hit it. I used to use 4.0gr of Tightgroup and that never gave problems either.
 
I've been loading 3.8 grians of titegroup under the aim 185. COL is 1.120. I use the Lee Factory crimp die as well. Before the 185 came out i was using the 180 TC. I have used both CCI and CCI Magnum primers. I tried taking it down to 3.5 grains but was not consistently putting up minor numbers. The first shot on a cold barrel always brought the average down too much. Hope this helps.
