40 s & w, titegroup, and cast bullets help

Having not so much luck searching for Titegroup / cast bullet loads. Anyone here have a favorite??

How much do I have to throttle down compared to jacketed bullets of the same weight?

Any economical powders that would be a better choice with cast, as I've read this could get smokey. Any thoughts appreciated.

I use 4.3 gr titegroup behind cast lead 170gr SWC

My 2¢ worth is 4.5 grains Bullseye and a 180 grain lead round nose, OAL 1.12 works in my M&P.

Mine's very similar to yours GI: 4.6gr. Bullseye behind a 175gr. LSWC, shoots great in my 229.
